A Christmas Choral Competition for Kapilya Choirs
December 26, 2009, 6:00 PM, Fatima Parish Grounds
MECHANICS:
1 The contest is open to ALL KAPILYA CHOIRS in the Parish of Our Lady of Fatima.
2 The participating choir should have a minimum of fifteen (15) and a maximum of thirty (30) members.
3 Two Christmas songs shall be performed by the participating choir: one Filipino Christmas carol, another in a foreign language.
4 Each choir will be allowed 6 to 10 minutes perfomance time.
5 Contest criteria
Voice 50%
Blending, tempo and rhythm 30%
(mastery of the song
Stage deportment/ audience impact 20%
(attire,choreography, facial expression)
6 Cash prizes will be given to the top three places.
First Prize - P 3,000.00
Second Prize - 2,000.00
Third Prize - 1,000.00
Consolation prizes will be given to all the other participating choirs.
