Bishop Broderick Pabillo, DD, chairperson of the Episcopal Commission on Social Action, arrived in Sorsogon early morning of Dec 10 for a shortened (to half-day from one whole day, due to the unexpected Installation Mass of Bishop Joel Baylon as 6th Bishop of Legazpi) talk on the Spirituality of Stewardship at 9:00 am at the Our Lady of Penafrancia Seminary High School Auditorium, to priests, religious and seminarians of both the high school and philosophy departments. The gathering was a follow-up to the second diocesan pastoral assembly, which determined the focus and direction of the next quinquennium - the building of Basic Ecclesial Communities (BECs) in all the kapilyas in the parishes.
