Nineteen priests joined Bishop Arturo Bastes at the Concelebrated Mass today at 5:15 pm, to commemorate the last apparition of the Virgin Mary to the three children in Fatima, Portugal. The Mass was well-attended, the entrance procession highlighted by the procession of the images of the patron saints of the different chapels, borne by the hermano/a or KPC chairperson. The congregation poured out into the patio. The celebration was highlighted by the coronation of the image of Our Lady of Fatima by Bobet Lee and Sally Lee, representing the hermano-a mayor of the parish - Milo and Katherine Lee Naval.
The liturgy also included a floral offering - children, youth and a sprinkling of adults queued up to lay flowers at the foot of the Virgin, the Act of Consecration to the Blessed Virgin Mary, led by our governor, Sally Lee, and the Prayer for Priests.
Msgr Gerry thanked everyone for their support and cooperation.
Food, most of which were provided by different individual parishioners, and drinks kept most everyone happy till late at night.
